Lourdes Correa Carlo
The most evident influences in her work may be found in post-minimalist, ephemeral art, and land art. Her style and preferences lean to an exploration of the multiple meanings of the senses and language.
Lourdes Correa Carlo was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1970. She studied history of art at the University of Puerto Rico (Río Piedras), the San Juan Art Students League, and the Puerto Rico School of Fine Arts, where she earned a B.A. in sculpture in 2002.
