Diseño Responsable at the MADC in Costa Rica

Once again the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design delights us with a fabulous show. This time it’s all about Responsible Design/Diseño Responsable. Curated by Hugo Pineda, the exhibition features 41 projects with 63 objects from 31 designers from which 5 correspond to a collective. Most of the designs promote the use of cultural, economical, ecological and socially friendly materials. Some are permeated by more than one of these but most of the designs lean towards better environment; there is even an interactive installation by Sorry Zorrito, an independent design magazine from Costa Rica. For more information about the exhibition you can contact the MADC or join the Sorry Zorrito discussion group.
