I enjoyed reading Carla Acevedo’s conversation with Victor Vazquez very much. The use of symbols in works has always aroused my curiousity. I saw Vazquez’s exhibition at the Seraphin Gallery-museum quality!

The intricacies of his work and the interpretaions thereof

I was delighted to read Carla Acevedo’s conversation with Victor Vazquez. Vazquez’s comment about perception and how it sometimes hides what is perceived is the kind of intrigue his works provoke. Vazquez’s images from his Dislocation, Encounter, Displacement exhibition are well worth viewing.

¡Bravo! Conozco y admiro la obra de Vázquez por años y me parece una obra con mucha profundidad, interesante y compleja. Es muy revelador que en una entrevista nos permita, en algo, ver la manera en que él maneja su propuesta y sus conceptos. Acevedo, la felicito por su aportación al arte mediante entrevistas como esta.

EXCELENTE. UN ARTISTA VISUAL CON UN CONCEPTO ARTÍSTICO TAN INTERESANTE Y DIFERENTE A LO QUE EL PÚBLICO ESTÁ ACOSTUMBRADO REQUIERE DE PREGUNTAS QUE AYUDEN AL ESPECTADOR A CONOCER LA OBRA A TRAVES DEL PROPIO ARTISTA. ESTA ENTREVISTA LOGRA ESE PROPOSITO. SIEMPRE HE SIDO ADMIRADORA DE VAZQUEZ POR LO INNOVADOR EN SUS PROPUESTAS PERO AHORA LA ENTIENDO MEJOR. CLARO QUE EL ARTISTA NO ESPERA QUE EL ESPECTADOR COMPRENDA SU OBRA PERO CONOCER EL PROCESO ESTÉTICO HACE VER LA OBRA CON OTROS OJOS SIEMPRE.
