I disagree, Teo, as Marta Mabel was not the curator of the show. So many artists work in art institutions. In order to “avoid conflicts” – should they all stop doing art or just show their work in alternative spaces? I gave this topic a lot of thought as I am currently showing my own photographic work at the galería fotográfica PL 900 in Casa Aboy in a series of exhibitions that was curated by me… Now that’s a conflict! But I found that I – and the public so far, too – can live with it. But believe me, I thought about it a lot and for a long time before I did it. This is a big problem in PR as the scene is so small. We should discuss this very openly and don’t blame artists for taking chances. I’m glad DAWIRE critic is in fact critical and I’m looking forward to seing the show once I’m back in PR in October.

To bad this show has been tainted by the conflict of interest having marta mabel P. in the show she also work for this museum so sad and disgusting!
